some objects will appear more easily than some others. Not because they're more important in the space, it means that you are sharing a emotional bond with them. The objects designers from ARDI aims not to trivialize the objects by their functions. They evoke moments of life by giving to their creations the freshness of a look or a gesture. Each day you will perceive them differently and you might create a story with them. Jérome Nicol Our Story :
Our passion for design started with the meeting of philippe Starck in the early 80's.Aluminum is then really trendy, but the Dacheville Nicole foundry understands quickly that prices of implementation are a big obstacle for young and talentuous designers. The Dacheville Nicole foundry decides then to create ARDI, an editing society, in a way to help young designers to realize their projects. Anne Marie Nicol, the founder, will be joined by her friend Kristian Gavoille, artistic director, freshly out of the Philippe Starck team and futur designer of the year. In 1990, Ardi is editing a collection of Designers which are drawing attention such as Ronan Bouroullec, Eric Jourdan and Reynald Leroy... Our catalogue provides then more than an hundred objects...The art of the table, the lightings, an outdoor collection... ARDI created his own history of design, always at the margins, sensitive and without concessions. Its modus vivendi: the aluminum ! More than twenty years of meetings and friendships.
