New project

Founded in 2002 by Gustavo Costa and Gabriela Muller, ATRIA is recognised for its work in architecture, urbanism, engineering, construction management, design and strategic thinking.

At the heart of our work there is a profound commitment in searching for innovative design solutions, consonant with artistic thinking, aligned with environmental preservation concepts and based on a multidisciplinary production methodology. We work this way to enable ambitious project solutions while offering skills capable to guarantee our clients the best cost benefit scenarios. The studio has been awarded at the Bienal de Arquitetura de Brasília (2005), on the selection “outstanding professional” from the Instituto de Arquitetos do Brasil (2006), has won national and international architecture competitions such as the Embassy of Kuwait in Brasília – 1st prize (2014), the Brazilian Pavillion on the international EXPO 2015 Milan – 2nd prize (2014) an the Brazilian Research Base in Antarctica – 3rd prize (2013).

ATRIA’s recently completed projects include also headquarters for Agência Giacometti Comunicação in Brasília (2012), the restructuration of the administrative building of the Advocacia Bettiol law firm (2010), the new administrative office for the governmental entity Secretaria Especial de Direitos Humanos (2009), the conception of two highly acclaimed photograph exposition: A Volta ao Mundo em 80 Fotos and Brasília Iluminada (2010), as well as a wide range of private projects for houses and apartments. Our team is dedicated also to graphic, furniture and product design, standing out the centre table Tensegridade, awarded with silver medal on the design prize IDEA Brasil 2012. To accommodate a range of projects throughout Brazil, ATRIA maintains two independent offices in Brasília and São Paulo.
